The final stage of the 4 Jours du Dunkerque gave another chance for the sprinters, with a 176 kilometers flat stage. A breakaway of four riders got controlled, 20 kilometers before the finish everything came back together. For Lotto Dstny all eyes were set on Milan Menten, a crash earlier in the stage didn’t keep him from sprinting. Finally Menten finished tenth.

Sports director Tony Gallopin recapped the week:  “We had a good race week at the 4 Jours du Dunkerque. The goal was to have a good general classification and to win a stage. We took a third spot in the GC with Jenno (Berckmoes) which is a good result. In the sprints we tried with Milan (Menten), but the fast sprints didn’t really suit him. We won the team general classification, so in general it shows the team was there. The riders are in good shape and ready for the next goals.”
