Ladies Lotto Dstny thanks sports director Dirk Onghena for collaboration

Dirk Onghena became a sports director for the Lotto Dstny Ladies and Devo Team in 2022, with a lot of experience having been a coach of the U23 riders at Cycling Vlaanderen. Binche Chimay Binche in the beginning of October was his last race for the team.

Dirk Onghena: “I’m super grateful for all the moments shared together with the Ladies and Devo Team. I saw the team taking great steps the past years, and I’m certain they will keep on doing that. We had a great 2024 season with both the Ladies and Devo riders, full of beautiful results. I had a great time and even though I’ll not longer be a sports director here next year, I’ll keep on supporting the team and who knows where my path will lead. After this great story, I’m ready for a new adventure.”

CEO Stéphane Heulot: “Despite parting ways, we want to thank Dirk for all the great work, dedication and engagement he gave for the team. We got to know Dirk as a very passionate person, who always went 100% to strive for the maximum. We wish him all the best for the future.”
