Development Milan Donie rides to second place in the sixth stage of the Tour du Rwanda
The sixth stage began in Nyanza. The riders covered a distance of 131.5 kilometers, finishing in Kigali, where a tough five-kilometer climb decided the final outcome.
Milan praises the excellent teamwork: “I wasn’t feeling great the past two days due to being a bit sick, but the team did an amazing job of lifting my spirits and motivating me,” Donie reflects. “They positioned me perfectly for the final climb, where I reached around tenth place. From there, it was every man for himself to the top. The strongest rider won today, and second place was the best I could aim for. A big thank you to the team for all their support.”
On Sunday, the Tour du Rwanda will conclude with a short 74-kilometer stage.
