Racing didn't only take place in Italy today. The Lotto Development Team lined up at the start of the Tour des 100 Communes, where Matys Grisel claimed an impressive sixth place in the sprint. "A difficult, nervous race today," Grisel said afterward. "With a really tough finish. The team did a great job. On the tricky sections, I tried to position myself as well as possible to prepare for the bunch sprint. Unfortunately, I made a small mistake there, which sent me into the grass. In the end, I still managed to sprint to sixth place. Not bad, but I’m a little disappointed because I felt there was more in it, of course."
