Ladies Lotto-Intermarché Ladies set to take on IXINA Leeuw–Oetingen
The Belgian one-day race is known for its challenging parcours, which often leads to an attritional race and a reduced group contesting the finale. The repeated efforts and constant fight for position make it a race where strong teamwork and race awareness are essential.
Sports Director Grace Verbeke expects the course to shape the race and create opportunities for the team later in the day: “Given the selective course, I expect a demanding race where we can still have several of our riders present towards the finale. With the necessary teamwork, we should then be able to aim for a strong result against the world’s best.”
The team will line up with Anna Van Wersch, Ilken Seynave, Katrijn De Clercq, Lea Lin Teutenberg, Marieke Meert and Romina Hinojosa Cruz, a group that combines strength and determination to compete against a strong international field.
For Romina Hinojosa Cruz, the race is one she is particularly looking forward to: “I'm really looking forward to Oetingen! I think it's such an exciting race with so many possibilities. Personally, I hope we work well together as a team and catch the crucial break. I'm truly excited—it's going to be a great day!”
With an attentive race approach and strong teamwork, the squad hopes to stay well represented in the decisive phase of the race and fight for a strong result in what promises to be a hard-fought edition of IXINA Leeuw–Oetingen.
