From the very first stage, our team set the tone with controlled and confident racing, immediately earning a fourth-place finish for Thibaut Bernard. The collective strength of the squad proved to be consistent throughout the week, with Matthew Fox winning Stage 2 and Matys Grisel taking victory in Stage 3. These performances kept both riders at the forefront of the general classification.

Reflecting on the achievement, Grisel emphasized the collective effort behind the result: he expressed great happiness with both the team’s performance over the past week and his overall victory, highlighting that every rider fulfilled their role each day. He underlined that without the team’s support, the win would not have been possible, and gave special recognition to Fox for his hard work and impressive second place, calling it fully deserved.

“I am really, really happy with the performance of the team during the past week and of course my win in the general classification,” said Grisel. “The whole day I was really stressed, but the team has been incredible. Every rider did their job every day, without them I would never have won. A special shoutout as well to Matthew, who finished second overall — he worked extremely hard all week and truly deserves this result.”

The one-two finish highlights not only the individual class of both riders but also the depth and unity within the team. The Tour de Taiwan campaign marks a standout success and sets a strong foundation for the remainder of the season.
