“The Tour de Bretagne is one of the biggest, but also one of the most beautiful stage races for development teams,” Dolven said. “Winning a stage here is therefore quite something. We went all in, and successfully so. After that victory in Missillac, I got to wear the green leader’s jersey for three days. We defended it tooth and nail. At times I was really riding with goosebumps behind my teammates. I received perfect support.”

Dolven eventually lost a podium spot in the general classification on the final day. “It’s a pity that we just missed out on the podium, but we can learn from it. Still, I’m happy with what we showed here. With Victor Van de Putte in seventh place, we have another rider in the top ten. The atmosphere was excellent, and the organization was flawless. The Tour de Bretagne is truly organized in a very professional way. It was great to be able to race here.”
