Stage 3 of the Ronde de l’Isard once again provided a challenging parcours through the Pyrenees, with steep climbs and a high pace from the start putting the peloton under pressure. Driesen and the whole Lotto-Groupe Wanty remained attentive throughout the day and positioned himself perfectly during the decisive final kilometers to secure an excellent third-place finish.

The result marks another major achievement for the Lotto-Groupe Wanty rider, who has been among the strongest riders in the race all week. Following his earlier success in the race, Driesen once again showed his strong form.

After crossing the line, Driesen was pleased with both the team effort and his own performance: “It was another really hard stage, but I felt good on the climbs and we raced well as a team. I’m happy to finish third today against such a strong field. These are the kinds of races where you learn a lot and gain confidence.”

With several stages still to come, Driesen and Lotto-Groupe Wanty remain focused on continuing their strong performance and fighting for top results in the overall classification.
