Ladies Never outside the top 10: Thalita de Jong finishes strong 3rd in Baloise Ladies Tour

Ending on a high note, Thalita de Jong impressively secured third place in the overall standings of the Baloise Ladies Tour. De Jong sprinted to an eighth place finish in Deinze today, securing her spot on the podium. "Today was mainly about defending that good overall ranking or maybe even improving it," reflects De Jong on the five-day Belgian-Dutch race. "The final today was once again very hectic and we unfortunately lost each other a bit with the team. I tried to move up, which ultimately worked out quite well."

De Jong is pleased with the final result. "I am particularly proud of how we performed as a team over the past five days. This was a good rehearsal for the Tour de France Femmes, moreover. We know what we can still work on and I know where I can still dot the i's."
