Matys Grisel finished the Tour Alsace in fourth place. "With all that climbing, it wasn't an easy week for us, so I'm happy to end with this honorable place."

The Lotto Dstny Development Team spent this week in France for the five-stage Tour Alsace. The riders faced a significant amount of climbing, including a finish at the Super Planche des Belles Filles. "It wasn't easy," reflects Matys Grisel on the week in Alsace. "Those first four stages were really meant for climbers, which made it a tough week for the team, considering the guys who were with us."

Stage five, the final stage today, presented a flatter course. "And that suited us perfectly. We worked together excellently as a team. Robin Orins managed to break away early in a group of seven. The final was particularly dangerous, though. In the last kilometer, there was even a major crash. Fortunately, the guys were able to position me safely and well, allowing me to sprint to fourth place. Admittedly, there might have been more potential. A fourth place always comes with mixed feelings. But I'm happy to conclude the week with an honorable placement for our team."
