Development 4th place for Steffen De Schuyteneer at Belgian U23 Championships

It was Milan De Ceuster who broke away from the peloton ten kilometers from the finish and seemed on his way to the Belgian title. However, the rider from our Lotto Dstny Development Team was caught 300 meters from the line. "Very unfortunate, of course," says Steffen De Schuyteneer. "I also planned to try something in the final, but it ultimately came down to a sprint. There, I might have chosen the wrong side, causing me to just miss the podium. You always want to win a national championship. We worked very well as a team, but the course of the race is not always predictable. More opportunities will come, and I hope to secure a nice win later this year."
