Development Fourth place for Matys Grisel in Honnelles, Development Team also secures U23 Road Series

“It’s a pity I couldn’t take the win, because I’m really happy with my current form,” said Grisel. “It was a tough race, hard and grueling. Unfortunately, three riders broke away in the final lap and we weren’t able to bring them back. In the end, I did win the sprint of the small chasing group. So the results are there, but the victory is still missing for now.”

The Grand Prix de Honnelles is part of the U23 Road Series. With this race, the Lotto Development Team also secured the team classification of Belgian Cycling’s season-long competition. “We worked hard today. Winning that classification was our goal this year, so it’s great that we managed to achieve it.”
