Ladies Lotto-Intermarché Ladies secure double Top 10 in GP Mazda Schelkens

The Lotto-Intermarché Ladies delivered another strong collective performance today, with Katrijn De Clercq sprinting to 6th place and Sandrine Tas securing 9th in a fast and demanding race finale. “I am really starting to feel in sync with the other ladies”, Tas mentioned satisfied.
Race 25 May 2026

The team approached the race with the intention of sprinting with Sandrine Tas and delivered a strong collective performance throughout the day. From the early phases of the race until the tense run-in to the finish, the ladies worked tirelessly to keep both Tas and De Clercq in a strong position ahead of the sprint.

Their efforts paid off with two riders finishing inside the top 10, underlining the strong cooperation and growing chemistry within the squad. The result was particularly encouraging after the team displayed excellent positioning and commitment in the closing kilometers of the race.

After the finish, Sandrine Tas reflected positively on the team’s performance and the progress being made together: “For me personally, it was still a bit of a challenge to position myself in the front but the entire team supported me really well with this. During a finale, you have to take so many decisions in a small period in time, and I think I took the wrong ones a few times, which is a pity that I couldn’t finish off the strong team work. I genuinely think more was possible today, but on a positive note I am really starting to feel in sync with the other ladies which makes me look forward to the next race already.”

The double top 10 result gives the Lotto-Intermarché Ladies plenty of confidence heading into the next races.
