Ladies Ilken Seynaeve takes impressive fourth place at Chrono Challenge in Poperinge

"It was a tough course today," Ilken said afterwards. "There was a lot of variety: it was constantly up and down, and the wind played a major role, especially in the second lap."

Ilken reflects on her performance with mixed feelings: "I started my time trial very strongly. In the first lap, I felt great and was able to maintain a solid pace. However, during the second lap, the wind really picked up, making it particularly tough. I'm a bit disappointed with my time, but I also gained a lot of experience from it. It was a good learning opportunity for the upcoming races."

Ilken and her teammates now look ahead to their next big goal: the Belgian National Individual Time Trial Championships, which will be held on May 1st at the Circuit of Zolder. She is eager to once again compete against the country's best.
