Development Jarno Widar crowned to European Champion U23

The European Championships course in Drôme-Ardèche lived up to its reputation as one of the most demanding races on the calendar. Winding through the rugged terrain of southern France, the race featured relentless climbs, technical descents, and rolling roads that tested every rider.

Jarno Widar and his Belgian teammates played their cards to perfection, applying consistent pressure on the peloton. “With the team, we tried to make the race as tough as possible for the others. And I think we succeeded with that”, Widar smiles.

“I am very happy that I could finally finish off all the hard work from the team.I could not believe my eyes when I crossed that finish line solo. This win feels like so much more than just a consolation prize. I won against the best riders in the under 23 category, since the world champion was also present.”

His triumph in Drôme-Ardèche is not only a personal milestone, but also a proud moment for our team. We wish to congratulate Jarno Widar and teammates  Kamiel Eeman and Milan Donie with this impressive performance.
